The people from whom we learnt the music on this recording are not trained musicians. They are village people, shepherds and Gypsy musicians. In their musical world the production of every tone, colour and sound formation has as much value in the creation as the notes of the tune which can be written down. Their music is a true artistic tool with which they express the world of their emotions and feelings. It is impossible to learn these emotions. We have tried to discover them within ourselves, within our souls as we believe that this method will enable us to go technique towards culture. If you can hear this on our CD then we truly own thanks to those people with whom we met personally, who were not just the sources of the music but also master teachers and good friends who are now in our hearts.
